If you are in the process of planning a train party, you are probably on the lookout for fun games for guests to play. After all, nobody wants to attend a birthday party that doesn’t include some good old-fashioned fun.
Luckily, we have a whole collection of awesome train games up our sleeve, and today we’re going to discuss two of those:
#1: “Pin the Caboose on the Train”
There is nothing quite like a classic party game, and it doesn’t get much more classic than “pin the tail on the donkey”. We’ve found that it’s a good idea to put a train-themed spin on this game and revive it for the littlest party guests to enjoy.
To play this game, simply use construction paper and poster board to create your own train poster to hang on the wall. Allow each guest to attempt to tape a caboose to the end of the train on your poster while blindfolded.
The player who gets the closest to the correct spot wins.
#2: “Tender Box” Beanbag Toss
For this game, create a train engine and tender car using cardboard boxes, construction paper, and paints. Buy or make a collection of four or five black beanbags to use as coal. Have the guests take turns tossing the “coal” beanbags into the tender car.
Players who get all of the beanbags into the correct box win a small prize.
